Who are Wolf Alice?

Wolf Alice concert

Wolf Alice

This alternative rock band emerged in 2010. The name of the band was borrowed from a work by English writer Angela Carter. Initially, the band mainly performed pop music with a touch of folk, but over time they became more rock-oriented.

Wolf Alice has released three studio albums, with a fourth on the way. The musicians have recorded more than two dozen singles. A review of the band's creative achievements shows that it has had a major impact on the British music scene. This was largely due to the blurring of boundaries between genres. Initially, the band was labelled as ‘grunge’, but after the release of their first album, My Love Is Cool, it became clear that Wolf Alice was versatile in their work.

When was Wolf Alice formed?

The history of Wolf Alice began in 2010. Initially, it was a solo project by Ellie Rowsell. Later, Joel Amey, Joff Oddie, and Theo Alice joined the band.
