All members of the British indie rock band Blossoms lived within two miles of each other as children. They attended the same secondary school but were in different classes. Two of them met at school, while the others met after graduation when they became seriously involved in music.

The band's first concert took place in April 2013 at The Night and Day Café on Oldham Street, Manchester.

The band's name, Blossoms, was chosen after The Blossoms Pub, located on the corner of Bramhall Lane and Buxton Road in Stockport. Initially, the musicians' rehearsal space was a site belonging to Charlie Salt's grandfather.

Tom Ogden was born on 28 April 1993 in Stockport. He is one of the founders of the band. Tom and Joe Donovan have known each other since their school days. Initially, the musician dreamed of becoming a director or editor. Tom Ogden not only performs but also writes songs. In 2020, he participated in the work on a composition by Brandon Flowers from The Killers, with the working title ‘God-Sized Problem.’ The title of the song ‘Charlemagne,’ one of Blossoms' biggest hits, was inspired by the fact that the artist's brother studied history and mentioned Charlemagne. Tom Ogden is married.

Charlie Salt was born on 25 June 1991 in Stockport. He joined Blossoms shortly after the band was formed. Charlie Salt is actively involved in recording songs and does not disclose information about his personal life.

Like the two previous members of Blossoms, Josh Dewhurst was born in Stockport on 7 March 1997. His father was a pianist and composer, which influenced the artist's decision to devote his life to music. In 2015, Dewhurst was in a romantic relationship with a girl named Gabriella, but they later broke up.

Joe Donovan was born on 1 November 1992 in Greater Manchester. Joe and Tom Ogden have known each other since school, having first met on a school trip to Alton Towers.

Several years ago, Joe Donovan was in a relationship with blogger Sophia Rosemary.

Myles joined the band later than the other members. By his own admission, he initially positioned himself exclusively as a keyboardist, although at that time he could only play one chord because his arm was broken.

All members of Blossoms are natives of Stockport or the surrounding area.

Blossoms - Charlemagne

Blossoms have had many hits. Among the band's most popular songs is ‘Charlemagne’. The single was released on 5 October 2015 and was recorded with Virgin EMI Records. It is the fourth song from Blossoms' debut studio album of the same name. It was written by the band members themselves and produced by James Skelly and Rich Turvey.

The song reached number 98 on the UK Singles Chart and number 38 on the Scotland Singles Chart.

On 29 June 2016, a music video with a total duration of 2 minutes and 51 seconds was released on YouTube.

Your Girlfriend’ is another popular song by British rock band Blossoms. The song was released on 20 June 2019 with the participation of Virgin EMI Records. It became the lead single from their third studio album, Foolish Loving Spaces. The song reached number 100 on the UK Singles Chart and number 59 on the Scottish Singles Chart.

In early autumn 2021, the band collaborated with Rick Astley, performing covers of The Smiths songs.
