In 1907, the first wooden roller coaster, known as the Scenic Railway, was opened.

In 1909, Pleasure Beach underwent a major expansion, but after the First World War, investment in its development was suspended due to difficulties in exporting attractions from the United States.

In 1923, the park was moved to its current location along the seafront.

From the 1930s to the 1940s, several new attractions appeared, including Rollercoaster, Pleasure Beach Express and the world-famous Grand National.

From 1958 to 1961, the park began to attract more visitors, with the opening of The Wild Mouse, Derby Rider and Alice in Wonderland.

In 1967, the world's longest log flume began operating, followed four years later by A Gold Mine.

In 1994, the opening ceremony of Pepsi Max Big One, the tallest and fastest attraction of its time, took place.

In the 2000s and later, the park developed thanks to investments, becoming more and more attractive to visitors.
